We have strong theoretical and academic backgrounds to apply to practical learning solutions.  All associates undertake regular professional development resulting in a range of effective methodologies, practical techniques and diagnostic tools.

Our varied business backgrounds are a major strength providing a combination of up to date technical knowledge and people skills.

stella
Stella Collins has a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Human Communication and a coaching diploma along with 15 years in the IT industry and 11 years in L&D.  She founded Stellar Learning and co-founded Brain in Business and the Brain Friendly Learning Group, a national network for trainers. She speaks regularly at conferences, has co-published 3 e-books and is a regular contributor to training magazines and journals.
 
  Tina Harris has a strong commercial background in the financial services sector responsible for the sale and delivery of retirement courses before joining Stellar Learning.  She project manages the day to day activities of the business, develops business opportunities and keeps us laughing.  Tina drives The Brain Friendly Learning Group which continues to develop and innovate under her management.
 danny Danny Norcross is a training and business development consultant with a passion for helping people learn and share information, particularly within technical environments.  Danny's strong technical background comes working in electronics and electrical engineering and more recently at an international centre of scientific and technical excellence.  He has very practical and academic leadership skills honed through 12 years volunteering in a youth leadership programme.
 ann Ann Grindrod is a licensed Business Master Practitioner of NLP, with further professional qualifications in learning, development, and counselling. She is a practising member of the Society of NLP, the CIPD, the ICG, ACPI and a Fellow of the ITOL. With a background in the services sector, and a strong focus on customer care, her diverse experience includes working with more than 50 organisations in her 21-year trading history.

 beth Beth Curl has a BSc in chemistry and biochemistry with several years experience in the chemical industry.  She specialises in communication, leadership and self-management training and has a CIPD diploma in Learning and Development.  Beth and Stella have set up and work together on Skills 2 Grow - Releasing Potential in Science and Technology.
 gavin Gavin Meikle - During a successful career in sales, sales training and sales management Gavin became fascinated in what made the difference between outstanding and mediocre performance.  This curiosity led him to train in NLP, the foremost discipline for modeling excellence.  In particular he uses his expertise to model excellent influencers and presenters and teaches those tried and tested models to companies and individuals around the world.

 julie 
Julie Noble is an experienced, versatile Human Resources Generalist witha successful record in Resourcing, Employee Relations, Change Management plus Training and Development.  Julie is a licensed MAP (Management Assessment of Proficiency) Assessor with excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.  She is the coordinator for the North West branch of the Brain Friendly Learning Group.

 helenHelen MacKinlay is passionate about bringing learning to life.  She creates thinking environments for corporate and non-profit sectors, lectured in professional qualifications and develops life changing programmes for disadvantaged groups.  She is a highly skilled, experienced and qualified specialise with qualifications including NLP practitioner and Diploma in Performance Coaching combined with her powerful use of the very best in brain friendly approaches.  
 julian dodson 
Julian Dodson has a strong commercial background in consumer goods marketing and for the past 15 years his passion has been achieving life changing outcomes with individuals and teams through the design and facilitation of experiential learning programmes.  Key programmes focus on the fundamental issues involved in getting results through people, and can be delivered in a wide diversity of indoor and outdoor environments.

 steveSteve Berry is our expert when it comes to strategy or finance training; as well as our original introduction to accelerated learning.  Steve is a former finance director and an international MBA lecturer, executive trainer and author who specialises in training business leaders.  

 

Denise Chilton is a health and wellbeing trainer specialising in managing stress in the workplace.  Denise is an enthusiastic advocate for brain friendly methodologies since participating in our How to be a Brain Friendly Trainer programme. She is responsible for our brain friendly workshops for Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and is a regular on BBC radio and a member of the International Stress Management Association.
